Keith Alper is a 1980 graduate of Central High and a 1984 graduate of Southern Illinois University–Edwardsville. At Edwardsville he majored in TV/radio with a minor in theatrical lighting. He currently resides in Chesterfield, MO.

Keith is the founder, president and CEO of Creative Producers Group (CPG), a marketing communications company that produces strategic events, meetings, video and internet solutions for national and international clients. CPG clients include BMW, Wal-Mart, Coke, American Airlines and more. He co-founded the company at the age of 18, after having been partly inspired by his time in the A/V department at Central High.

CPG has won over 200 international and national industry awards, including the New York Festivals, Tellys, ACE and Addys. Keith has been named a "Top 100 Multimedia Producer" by A/V Video and Multimedia Producer magazine multiple times and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Fortune and Inc. Magazine. He was also named to the St. Louis Business Journal's list of 40 business leaders under the age of 40.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Keith has been very active in business groups. He helped found the St. Louis chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization, an international organization for owners of businesses with at least $1 million in sales. In 18 months he helped build the chapter to the largest in the YEO network. He later became the president of YEO International. He is now the president-elect of the Young Presidents' Organization, an organization similar to YEO but for presidents of larger companies.

Keith has served on the board of directors of various groups, including the St. Louis Jewish Federation, the St. Louis County Enterprise Centers, SIU–Edwardsville, Civic Entrepreneurs Organization, KWMU NPR radio and more.
