Parkway School District is synonymous with excellence and as one way to celebrate Parkway’s 50th Anniversary as one of the most respected school districts in the country, the Parkway Alumni Association proudly announced its first ever Hall Of Fame Celebration.  This prestigious event has now honored the accomplishments of more than seventy outstanding Parkway graduates who have made great sacrifices and wonderful contributions, brightening the lives of countless individuals.

“We are excited by the caliber of people that the Parkway schools have proven to produce,” notes Jan Misuraca, the association’s executive director. “The community should know that these people are a reflection of what Parkway is and has always been—a place where children are given strong academic preparation for whatever they choose to do, as well as a place that will care for and support them emotionally. It's also an institution that deserves its constituents’ continuing support so that future generations will be equally prepared and will find ways to be assets in our society.”

The PAA accepts nominations November 1 through December 31 of odd years and hold the Hall of Fame celebrations during November of even years. The nomination forms will be available online November 1, 2007. Graduates must be at least 28 years of age, and all recipients of the Hall of Fame award are selected based exclusively on their achievements and contributions to their profession and their community. No limit is placed on the number of awards to be given each year, and a selection committee approved by the association’s board of directors implements the process.
